Course Summary: Introduction to the components of an internal combustion engine. Content will include lecture on all components of a 2.8L V6 engine, with supplemental information on various manufacturing processes, materials and theories of an internal combustion engine. In addition to lecture instruction a “hands –on” lab that will allow for assembly and dis-assembly of the engine. The lecture and lab format will give the student an overall feel for multiple facets of internal combustion engine technology.
